Datatech SmartSoft Inc. is a leading provider of workflow management software. We provide desktop and enterprise-level solutions for address correction, postal discounts, and print workflow automation, for the United States and Canada.
Our products include AccuMail® postal address correction software, the all-in-one address quality and postal presorting solution, SmartAddresser® 5, real-time address validation software, AccuMail Verify™, and the end-to-end print workflow solution, PressWise®, which was acquired in 2010.
Prior to the acquisition of PressWise, our primary focus has been the mailing software and data integrity business. From our formation in the late 1980's, we have seen mailing and data integrity software evolve from large-scale mainframe systems, which only a few could enjoy, to extremely powerful desktop products used by a wide variety of clients in very diverse industries.
In January of 1998, Datatech Enterprises purchased Group 1 Software's PC mailing products division, and merged our existing software business into this acquisition to form Datatech SmartSoft Inc.
Group 1 was well known as a mailing, data cleansing, and database marketing software company for mainframe and mid-range platforms. Recognizing the importance of a Windows-based platform, Datatech SmartSoft was formed to focus on software development for this rapidly expanding market.
Today, with thousands of customers across a wide variety of industries and services, and an ongoing program of development and innovation, Datatech SmartSoft continues to evolve and expand to meet the needs of our customers.
We provide data hygiene, mailing software and print workflow solutions to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, financial institutions, commercial printers, not-for-profit organizations, major online retailers, national printing franchises, and a whole host of other businesses, large and small.
